According to World Atlas, Canada is the second largest country in the world with 9.984 square kilometers with Russia being ranked first. At the end of 2019, Statistics Canada recorded the country’s population being over 37 million. Over thirty-eight percent of the population lives in the province of Ontario which hosts the country’s capital, Ottawa and the country’s largest city Toronto. The remaining 62% is spread across the other 13 provinces and territories.
